The second trimester was not
the easy trimester for you last time.
Whether you delivered in the second trimester or developed pregnancy complications then, it has left you feeling scared of being pregnant again.
I'm here to show you how to have a different experience next time.
So you're TTC or are newly pregnant after a complicated, dark, difficult, heartbreaking journey.
Let me make sure I understand where you are right now...
You’ve tried all.the.things to help with your anxiety, fears and worries (yoga, deep breathing, meditation, therapy) but the calming effects just don’t stick and you're sick of it.
You’ve lost trust in the medical system because your voice was not heard or trusted in your previous pregnancy. This time you're ready to do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Feeling (or imagining feeling) the blood pressure cuff around your arm sends you into a spiral of panic.
Every time you walk to the bathroom, your whole body braces you for what you'll find. Every time, you examine the toilet paper from every single angle, convinced you've seen a tinge of blood.
Days when you don't feel pregnancy symptoms freak you out. But every twinge and pull freaks you out as well. There is no reprieve to the fear and worry.
You've lost faith that your body can stay pregnant safely. You notice you're snapping at your partner and loved ones more often than ever before. You don't recognize yourself. You hate that you're doing this, but you can't stop.
You don't want to go through your entire pregnancy like this and miss out on the moments like you did before.
Does this sound about right?
If yes, I want you to hear this: You're not crazy. You're not being too negative, and you're not stuck in the past.

YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH SOME OF THE HARDEST EXPERIENCES A COUPLE SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO
LIVE THROUGH
You’ve experienced the soul-shattering moments of losing life. It takes your breath away, making it impossible to sleep, eat, be in the world without seeing pregnant bellies and babies everywhere.
You’ve waited in sheer terror as life hung in the balance, not knowing what would happen.
You’ve watched your baby fight for his/her life, never realizing just how fragile and strong the human body can be.
Every physical sensation in this pregnancy, from the heartburn to the round ligament pain, reminds you of what happened before and all you do is brace for the worst possible thing to happen again.
The anxiety is crippling, but your heart aches to bring home a healthy baby.
You've become terrified of the thing you've wanted most
You’ve probably heard from well-meaning loved ones and even professionals that you’re being too negative. You need to focus on the positive.
Let the past stay in the past and look forward. Just relax! (Insert eye roll)
But you and I both know that’s not what this is!
You’re not making a big deal out of nothing. You’re not being pessimistic or negative. You’re not crazy.
Your thoughts are not the problem.
After everything you've been through to grow your family,
you no longer feel safe in your pregnant body.
GOING THROUGH A
HIGH-RISK PREGNANCY OR PREGNANCY AFTER LOSS(ES) OR PREMATURITY
REQUIRES SPECIALIZED CARE
Unfortunately, our system leaves a significant gap in the care for women like you who you are going through a high-risk pregnancy, especially after infertility, loss(es), prematurity, pregnancy complications and/or birth trauma.
Your OB, MFM,
& other physicians
specialize in managing the physical aspects of your prenatal health through ultrasounds, bloodwork, exams and medical treatment
Your therapist, coach
& doula
specialize in helping you cope emotionally with the ups and downs, and help you process what you’re going through.
Your acupuncturist & meditation apps
specialize in immediate relaxation when you’re feeling anxious or worried
These are important pieces of the your prenatal health puzzle.
However, there is one missing piece that's critical to helping you
stay pregnant and reduce your risk of complications:
No one is teaching you how to feel safe to be pregnant again
after everything you've already been through.
WHAT DOES FEELING SAFE
IN MY BODY
HAVE TO DOWITH PREGNANCY?

When we don't feel safe in our bodies after a loss, pregnancy complications, or preterm delivery, our nervous system becomes dysregulated (meaning it doesn't function optimally). This creates sensations and experiences we call anxiety or acute/chronic stress.
When our nervous system becomes frozen in that dysregulated state, we call it trauma.
A dysregulated nervous system alters our endocrine (hormonal) system and
immune system, which increases our risk of pregnancy complications and preterm delivery.
Not focusing on helping you feel safe in your body during pregnancy
explains why...
... you feel better after a call or appointment with your OB or MFM, but you still find yourself Googling furiously in the middle of the night when you're certain something is going wrong.
... you feel calmer after a therapy or coaching session, or making a plan with your doula, only to find yourself feeling panicky when feel a pulling sensation or need to go to the bathroom.
... you feel relaxed after an acupuncture appointment or doing a meditation, yet your migraines or heart palpitations return several hours or days later.
Our work together completes your prenatal health care puzzle.
By joining the Path to Baby program, you'll go through my proprietary framework based on the concepts of prenatal psychoneuroimmunology that will teach you how to:
BREAK FREE of the past by releasing the trauma and grief from your previous pregnancies that have their roots in your body.
DESIGN YOUR BLUEPRINT so you have a crystal clear path to shows what happened last time, how that influences your current health, and the path forward to reduce your risk of the same (or worse) happening again.
TIGHTLY IMPLEMENT your prenatal, labor, and delivery plan and prepare a trauma-proofed delivery, no matter when or how your baby is born.
You are not broken. You are not weak. You are not a pessimist.
You have survived.
NOW IT'S TIME

IT IS SAFE TO BE PREGNANT AGAIN.

FAQs
What exactly do you do?
I am a high-risk pregnancy specialist & consultant and somatic trauma professional specializing in psychoneuroimmunology. That's a fancy way of saying, I specialize in knowing how stress and traumatic stress affect your nervous system, endocrine (hormonal) system and immune system in ways that affect your pregnancy health and outcomes. I created the Path to Baby program to help you have a healthy pregnancy (even if you're at risk for complications) so you can increase your chances of bringing home a healthy baby.
What's included in the Path to Baby program?
I guide you through my proprietary framework to:
I don't need more things to do. Why would I join a program that will add more to my plate?
You're right, you don't need more things to do. You don't need more breathing techniques or apps to download. What you need are the right things that are actually going to make a difference in helping you stay pregnant, have a healthy (high-risk) pregnancy, and reduce your risk of preterm delivery.
Are you a doctor? A nurse? A therapist?
No, no, and not anymore.
Why should I believe you over my OB or MFM to help me with my pregnancy?
This is not about believing me over your doctor, it's about completing the prenatal care puzzle. Your doctor can only offer what they know. I'm coming in with a piece of the puzzle, they do not specialize in: the neuro-endo-immuno connection and how it impacts pregnancy outcomes.
Do you ever recommend anything that will go against my doctor's advice?
I will never offer medical advice, period. But I may offer suggestions related to other parts of your pregnancy care that may be different than than what your OB or MFM is recommending.
But how is it possible that you know something my doctor doesn't to help me with my pregnancy?
Primarily, our medical system (and let's face it much of our culture) is based on the notion that mind and body are completely separate. So your OB or MFM are looking at your prenatal care from purely a physical health perspective.
What if your program doesn't work for me?
Every one of my clients has unqiuely different histories that bring them to the Path to Baby program. Some have experienced 1 loss, some multiple, some none. Some have delivered preemies that survived. Some delivered preemies that did not. Some have experienced infertility. Some have not.
What happens if I lose my baby during this program?
You're not going to go through that alone either. We have grief supports within the program that will guide you through navigating the soul-shattering experience of loss. This is all included when you join the program, at no extra cost to you.
How has this program helped your clients?
Check out the list of mind-blowing results listed above. These (and more that I couldn't fit on the page) are real client results.
Who should NOT join Path to Baby?
- You're not willing to try something new.
-
You don't believe stress, anxiety, trauma, grief or your nervous system health impacts your pregnancy health. -
You don't believe there's a way to influence your pregnancy health (even if you're high-risk) -
You're not able to willing to invest in your prenatal health. -
You're not willing to implement the suggestions and advice provided through the program.
I'm already pregnant, can I still join the program?
The sooner you join the program, the longer we have to support your body for a longer, healthier pregnancy. Ideally, join the program when you're TTC or are newly pregnant.
I'm not sure I can afford this program. What should I do?
Let's look at it this way: the average cost of hospitalization in the NICU is $3000 per day (and that cost increases depending on where you live)!
Does this program include my partner?
Yup! Partner support is included in this program too!
Ok I'm ready! Where do I begin?

What's the Path to Baby New Client Call for?
We'll review your overall prenatal care, your history and journey to this point of your family-building journey and get an overview of the status of your nervous system and how it may be impacting your ability to get and stay pregnant.
Do I have to decide on the call if I want to join the Path to Baby program?
Yes, ideally on the call or within 24 hours. There is no hard sell on the call (EW gross), but here's what I do know:
After working with so many women through this program, I can tell you that the women who experience the most success in the program by beating medical odds during their pregnancy are deeply motivated, know what they want, and take action quickly.
How long is the Path to Baby program?
You join now, and we work together for 12 months or 4 weeks after baby comes home (even if baby is in the NICU), whichever comes later.
I've already read your book, isn't that enough?
Maybe! For some women it is. But for some, they know that understanding their physiology during pregnancy on an intellectual level is a good start, but they want more. They want the live support, the personalized guidance, and they want to take the guesswork out of how to have a healthy pregnancy with a different outcome this time around. That's what Path to Baby provides - a much deeper level of support than you can ever receive from a book, customized to your specific situation.
What is the investment for the Path to Baby program?
The investment for the deeply personalized Path to Baby program starts at $1800/month. There is also a pay in full incentive if you prefer.
If this program is not going to help you, the fee can be
anything and it will be a waste of your money. But if you’re a good fit for the Path to Baby program and both of us feel I can help you, we can find a payment plan that works for your budget.
