Please read all of the FAQs before scheduling your Path to Baby New Client Call. Please be sure to read them with your partner (if you have one) too, so you are both on the same page prior to the call.

What exactly do you do?

I am a high-risk pregnancy specialist & consultant and somatic trauma professional specializing in psychoneuroimmunology. That's a fancy way of saying, I specialize in knowing how stress and traumatic stress affect your nervous system, endocrine (hormonal) system and immune system in ways that affect your pregnancy health and outcomes. I created the Path to Baby program to help you have a healthy pregnancy (even if you're at risk for complications) so you can increase your chances of bringing home a healthy baby. The goal is that you have support every step of the way so that you can restore control, hope and power. Together, we will optimize your physical and emotional health so that your body can experience the maximum benefit from any medical treatments you need. No matter what bumps or hurdles, twists or turns are thrown your way, you will not experience or navigate them alone.

What's included in the Path to Baby program?

I guide you through my proprietary framework to: 1) Uncover how your past traumas and traumatic losses are impacting your reproductive health. 2) Devise a personalized plan to increase your chances of a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. 3) Review how the science & literature your physician likely doesn't know can help you stay pregnant (even if you're high-risk). 4) Advocate for the best prenatal care so you will not be a statistic for medical error or waved off as "just another anxious patient". 5) Provide accountability so you can stay focused and create life-long changes to your health. With a trusted framework and built-in support, you no longer have to turn to Dr. Google, online forums or Magic 8 balls to tell you what to expect. You're taking an active role in your pregnancy health to help you stay pregnant. Imagine how much time and mental energy that will free up for you to focus on things that matter - like choosing a name or preparing your big kiddo for your new addition!

I don't need more things to do. Why would I join a program that will add more to my plate?

You're right, you don't need more things to do. You don't need more breathing techniques or apps to download. What you need are the right things that are actually going to make a difference in helping you stay pregnant, have a healthy (high-risk) pregnancy, and reduce your risk of preterm delivery. We'll create a custom plan together to support you in your personalized situation that will have ripple effects throughout your pregnancy, delivery, and long-term health, even after baby is born!

Are you a doctor? A nurse? A therapist?

No, no, and not anymore. I'm obsessed with research, science and all things related to nervous system health, stress, traumatic stress and pregnancy outcomes. My knowledge comes from specialized training in somatic trauma, nervous system health, and prenatal care. It comes from having been a patient inside a broken medical system through infertility, a high-risk pregnancy, loss(es), an extremely preterm delivery, and many months in the NICU, watching my son fight for his life, and seeing how incomplete the prenatal care is when we do not include body safety and trauma work as part of it. It also comes from consulting with hundreds of women, seeing them beat medical odds when we add nervous system health and body safety into their prenatal care plan. It comes from witnessing over, and over, and over, that the work works.

Why should I believe you over my OB or MFM to help me with my pregnancy?

This is not about believing me over your doctor, it's about completing the prenatal care puzzle. Your doctor can only offer what they know. I'm coming in with a piece of the puzzle, they do not specialize in: the neuro-endo-immuno connection and how it impacts pregnancy outcomes. Our roles are completely different but absolutely complementary. With an extra set of eyes on your prenatal care to make sure your doctor hasn't missed anything and an additional way to support your body for a healthy pregnancy, together we as a team work together to help you achieve your dream of bringing home a healthy pregnancy.

Do you ever recommend anything that will go against my doctor's advice?

I will never offer medical advice, period. But I may offer suggestions related to other parts of your pregnancy care that may be different than than what your OB or MFM is recommending. I do not suggest that you you blindly follow my recommendations either. Together, we're going to map out why your doctor advised what they did (based on research, your history, your current situation.) We will also review why I'm advising what I am. We will make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision about what is right for you and support you to make that decision with confidence (and not fear). Also, if you're not sure or don't believe what your doctor is suggesting is right for you, and you find yourself spending much of your time consulting Dr. Google, PubMed, online forums, or your mom, that's where our work comes in too. By providing you up to date research and access to medical decision-making strategies, you will be prepared to get a a valuable second medical opinion to help support you to the right next move for you. Again, you're not doing any of this on your own!

But how is it possible that you know something my doctor doesn't to help me with my pregnancy?

Primarily, our medical system (and let's face it much of our culture) is based on the notion that mind and body are completely separate. So your OB or MFM are looking at your prenatal care from purely a physical health perspective. In actuality, there is over 70 years of research that shows the impact of nervous system dysregulation (that shows up as pregnancy anxiety, stress during pregnancy or unresolved trauma) on pregnancy complications, pregnancy outcomes, and preterm delivery. That is my specialty, which your physician likely does not have.

What if your program doesn't work for me?

Every one of my clients has unqiuely different histories that bring them to the Path to Baby program. Some have experienced 1 loss, some multiple, some none. Some have delivered preemies that survived. Some delivered preemies that did not. Some have experienced infertility. Some have not. The unifying thread between each of my clients is this: They know without a doubt they do not want the past to repeat itself, and that's why each and every one of them has beat medical odds during their high-risk pregnancy. Now my lawyer does require me to remind you that just like your doctor, I cannot guarantee any particular pregnancy or birth outcome. But from what I've seen with all of the women I've worked with: If you're motivated to do the work, you're ready to be an active participant in your health, and you're completely committing to supporting your body through this pregnancy, you will experience shifts in your health.

What happens if I lose my baby during this program?

You're not going to go through that alone either. We have grief supports within the program that will guide you through navigating the soul-shattering experience of loss. This is all included when you join the program, at no extra cost to you.

How has this program helped your clients?

Check out the list of mind-blowing results listed above. These (and more that I couldn't fit on the page) are real client results.

Who should NOT join Path to Baby?

  • You're not willing to try something new.
  • You don't believe stress, anxiety, trauma, grief or your nervous system health impacts your pregnancy health.
  • You don't believe there's a way to influence your pregnancy health (even if you're high-risk)
  • You're not able to willing to invest in your prenatal health.
  • You're not willing to implement the suggestions and advice provided through the program.
My goal is to save you time, money, mental and physical energy by showing you how to improve the health of your pregnancy, so you need less medical interventions to stay pregnant and deliver your baby as close to term as possible. The sooner you do the work, the faster you will see results in your body.

I'm already pregnant, can I still join the program?

The sooner you join the program, the longer we have to support your body for a longer, healthier pregnancy. Ideally, join the program when you're TTC or are newly pregnant. That said, I have successfully worked with women who have joined in the second trimester, as well. If you are already in your 3rd trimester, you may not get the full benefit of this program, so email us for an alternative solution.

I'm not sure I can afford this program. What should I do?

Let's look at it this way: the average cost of hospitalization in the NICU is $3000 per day (and that cost increases depending on where you live)! In joining the Path to Baby program, you learn how to support your body to stay pregnant as long as possible and reduce the risk preterm birth and time in the NICU, if you need it at all. That could actually save you money in the long run, not to mention save you from the stress and overwhelm of navigating a high-risk pregnancy on your own. The program is extremely high touch and deeply personalized so you are not experiencing any ups and downs or details of your path to bringing your baby home alone. Additionally, it's not over when baby comes home, as much as we like to believe. So the investment in the Path to Baby program includes your membership into our Healing Hearts community for continued support postpartum and during your parenting journey after baby has come home. In my experience, when someone says the investment is too high, that usually means they don't yet understand what the program is about and the results that are delivered. So, if the program sounds right for you, I suggest scheduling your Path to Baby New Client Call so we can discuss if this program is a good fit for you and review any payment plans that may be a good fit for your budget.

Does this program include my partner?

We'll review your overall prenatal care, your history and journey to this point of your family-building journey and get an overview of the status of your nervous system and how it may be impacting your ability to get and stay pregnant. If you and I believe we're a good fit to work together through the Path to Baby program, we'll discuss what our work together will look like through your pregnancy. Please note, this call is not about getting free fertility, pregnancy or postpartum advice.

Do I have to decide on the call if I want to join the Path to Baby program?

Yes, ideally on the call or within 24 hours. There is no hard sell on the call (EW gross), but here's what I do know:
After working with so many women through this program, I can tell you that the women who experience the most success in the program by beating medical odds during their pregnancy are deeply motivated, know what they want, and take action quickly. This means, knowing that this is the right program for you, knowing that I can support you during your pregnancy, and being committed to following the suggestions and advice in the program consistently and regularly. The ideal client for the Path to Baby program is someone, who after learning how exactly I can support her to have a healthy high-risk pregnancy, is ready to begin immediately, determined to work consistently, and dedicated to see results. But, I don't want you to waste your time or your money, so if you're not ready to jump into a program that's shown to help women with a wide variety of backgrounds and histories beat medical odds by supporting their body to have a healthy pregnancy, hold off on scheduling the call for now. Read Pregnancy Brain, listen to episodes of Delivering Miracles®, follow me on Instagram, and check out the resources I have availble for you until you feel the time is right.

How long is the Path to Baby program?

You join now, and we work together for 12 months or 4 weeks after baby comes home (even if baby is in the NICU), whichever comes later.

I've already read your book, isn't that enough?

Maybe! For some women it is. But for some, they know that understanding their physiology during pregnancy on an intellectual level is a good start, but they want more. They want the live support, the personalized guidance, and they want to take the guesswork out of how to have a healthy pregnancy with a different outcome this time around. That's what Path to Baby provides - a much deeper level of support than you can ever receive from a book, customized to your specific situation.

What is the investment for the Path to Baby program?

The investment for the deeply personalized Path to Baby program starts at $1800/month. There is also a pay in full incentive if you prefer. The exact monthly payment and number of payments is dependent on the specific payment plan that is best for you and your situation. We will discuss these details on the Path to Baby Strategy Call. More important, though, is first figuring out if you are a good fit for the program and whether I can help you, which is what we will determine on the New Client Call.

If this program is not going to help you, the fee can be anything and it will be a waste of your money. But if you’re a good fit for the Path to Baby program and both of us feel I can help you, we can find a payment plan that works for your budget.

Schedule your Path to Baby New Client Call so we can discuss how this program can help you support your body through your next high-risk pregnancy and so you can get benefit from this program that has helped countless women around the world beat medical odds.
